At Pony Pals Wrekin, we offer a range of therapeutic support centred around meaningful interaction with horses and animals, designed to nurture wellbeing, regulation, confidence and growth. All work is creative, flexible and child-led, adapted to your goals and comfort levels.

£40 Per Session (30 Mins)

30-Minute Equine Groundwork Session

This introductory equine-assisted session is designed for grounding, emotional regulation, and building a calm connection with our ponies. T

hrough gentle, guided interactions — such as meeting and handling from the ground, slow grooming, and sensory engagement — you’ll begin developing trust, reduce stress responses and enhance present-moment awareness. This session is ideal as a first step or as focused support when short, regular check-ins are helpful.

£60 Per Session (60 Mins)

60-Minute Therapeutic Interaction Session

Explore • Reflect • Progress

In this extended session, we deepen the equine connection to support emotional insight and personal development. Building on groundwork activities, you’ll engage in tailored movement or sensory tasks alongside the pony — from mindful grooming and lead work to rhythm and balance-focused engagement.

This longer format allows space for richer reflection, integration of sensory experiences and therapeutic dialogue alongside the calming presence of the horses.

£90 Per Session (90 Mins)

90-Minute Sensory & Regulation Immersion

Integrate • Embody • Grow

Our most immersive offering brings together extended equine interaction, sensory-focused activities, and therapeutic pacing designed to support deeper regulation and sustained engagement. Over 90 minutes, the session can include exploratory walks, sensory-anchored care tasks, rhythm and movement work, and shared reflective time in the company of our gentle animals.

This extended time is ideal for individuals seeking a more profound therapeutic experience or those working on complex goals, using the horse-human relationship as a central catalyst for growth and resilience.

Equine assisted therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Sessions and packages are flexible and shaped around individual needs, goals and readiness, allowing therapy to progress at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

Qualified & Trauma-Informed Support

Sessions are delivered by a qualified, BACP-registered counsellor with specialist experience in equine assisted therapy. Work is grounded in ethical, trauma-informed practice, providing a safe, supportive space for growth and regulation.
